Rue 54

Kalei Coffee Co.’s flagship in Beirut’s Mar Mikhael/Rmeil district was once the Coconi House, abandoned in 1984 during the Lebanese civil war. When we entered the garden, we felt at home, offering a quiet escape from the nearby hustle. We preserved the old structure, allowing the space to guide our operations. In September 2016, Kalei’s first coffee house and roastery opened, honoring the past. (Note: Parking available for residents only.)

Ras Beirut

Our Ras Beirut roastery, housed in a late-1800s Lebanese heritage home, was once the Himadeh family residence from the 1920s. Opening its doors in January 2019, this location is designed around a central bar, evoking the Dar’s customary activity. A backyard, accessible only from the main entrance, leads to the garden, featuring outdoor seating for our guests.
We offer a variety of coffees to complement Ras Beiruti water profiles, and our menu includes cocktails, local wines, beer, and all-day dining options.
